Watch Tracker tells time, tracks movements and fends off potential friends {Engadget}

May 17th 2008 1:58PM Well.
Using GPS to view nearby friends.
NOO!!!! hell no! It was my idea! Not by a watch of course, but simply via a GPS phone and a client program that runs on either java or symbian.,

Wel, they stole it. Anyway, Nice idea.

Creative gets official with Vado cheapcorder {Engadget}

I don't have all those Vista certified stuff. All devices I use is at least a few years old, AND they work with Vista.

Creative gets official with Vado cheapcorder {Engadget}

May 13th 2008 5:45PM Well my Zen Vision:M had never issues and still works greatly since I've bought it more than two years ago. It still works superior and I use it every day. I also have other Creative products such as Webcam, sound card and speakers. I've had no problems with them at all.

I also use Vista Ultimate and guess what? My sound card, webcam, and mp3 player works flawlessly with it! There is a driver for everything, especially mp3 players, you just need to search for it.

Newman's M8000 PMP: 250GB never looked so ugly {Engadget}

May 10th 2008 1:18PM To the people who call this ugly:
Do you ever see something that looks beatiful (iPod doesn't look good at all for me) that can compete with the storage of this device. Well, if the audio quality (which Apple has no idea what it is all about at all), support for codecs (especially lossless ones) are well enough, and it has a good battery life that lets us can watch long videos, then all it needs is a Flash Player :)
I'd better buy this one instead of buying those overrated fruit products.

E-Fuel's Micro Fueler creates Ethanol from sugar in your backyard {Engadget}

May 9th 2008 10:30AM Is it pure ethanol? Or is it something else mixed with it for the production of the fuel? Why I'm asking is that... well...
Can we use the ethanol for other purposes?

Researchers tout 20 million processor-strong supercomputer to study climate change {Engadget}

May 7th 2008 5:53PM 20M CPUs won't have any significant effect. This is a good idea that will guide the researchers to know more about climate behavior.

Someone said that why not use this for medical research.. Well worlds fastest supercomputer is already being used for it.

Vodafone releasing iPhone in Australia, Italy, India, and seven other countries {Engadget}

May 6th 2008 4:09AM Well, not big deal.
I've seen several people with iPhone here in Turkey, and obviously, they've bought it and paid someone to crack it.

The problem is, iPhone, like all fruit products, is expensive. And the listed countries have just a small fraction of the community who can afford an iPhone. For a comparison, an iPod Touch 8 GB is about 600-700 dollars equivalent here with those astrological stupid taxes included, despite the much lower income rate. I'm not sure I want to hear about iPhone price, as these network contracts that give free cell phones are'nt really popular here in Turkey.

Is it really worth it? Ok, there is still no 3G here but seriously still, is it worth it, or is there something else behind the curtains?

The Professor: GM's new old engine tech, moon mirrors, the dangers of space war debris {Engadget}

May 5th 2008 2:00PM Well, I just have an idea: Why don't they just put solar panels on top the cars and pack the cars with batteries? It may not be efficicient enough both technically and economically, but at least it's an option.
(I see lots of flaming around here, if you are going to reply, doesn't matter if you totally agree or disagree with what I say, don't forget to behave like humans beings. just a reminder :))

Nike Dunks + WiFi = A Step in the Right Direction {Engadget}

May 4th 2008 1:12PM Well, I have concerns about the battery.
Does it have an internal battery that will wear out after some time, or does it generate its energy as the person walks. If its the second way then I can't imagine how the price will be, if it's the other way than it has the chance to turn off, rendering the whole idea pointless...
..wait a minute. Wasn't it also pointless before? I mean seriously, if Nike doesn't have plans for a killer app or anything that will make the idea practically useful, why did they ever make it?
