I really don't get this. I reboot my laptop maybe once or twice a month for windows update. Other than that it's just in sleep mode and wakes up instantly when I open the lid.
For a small audience: use a 17" laptop
For a larger audience: use a real projector

Wake me up when they're at least 720p
The speed of a single transistor doesn't mean much. They had 200+ (two hundred) GHz Silicon transistors in 2001. It remains to be seen if these graphene transistors can be combined into complex chips with better performance than silicon.

Personally I'd put my money on the memristor: it can be built on existing fabs and has the potential to make chips smaller and faster.
The picture doesn't load! Engadget is going down the drain fast!

Aren't you forgetting the big gorilla in the room? Nokia still has 40%+ market share.
Being a member doesn't necessarily mean you are going to build a phone. It's always good to keep an eye on what the competition is doing and if they invite you into their kitchen why refuse?
Big Giant Balls you are a complete twat no offense
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
