Are you kidding? Sorry to burst your bubble but your MacBook Pro is a dangerously obese lady 9 months pregnant with quintuplets compared to the anorexic model that is the VAIO X.

MacBook Pro 15" = 5.5 pounds
MacBook Pro 13" = 4.5 pounds
VAIO X = 1.6 pounds

oh and the VAIO Z = 3.3 pounds
isn't that the t500
i think that has a slower processor, no SSD, and is twice the weight of this.
Don't you know that the MacBook Air is FAT?

Its twice the weight of the Adamo XPS and the VAIO X.

And the VAIO Z is just 10% heavier than the Air, but has insanely better specs.
that was so lame... *cringe*

There is no doubt that Apple makes good products, however this is beneath them and they shouldn't have to stoop to this. This just seems so awfully childish and bitchy.
is 1.4 pounds correct? that would make it lighter than the VAIO X.. no?
haha noticed that too..

glitches everywhere
This isn't exactly the same as your ASUS EEEs or Acer Ones. It has a better and in some cases bigger screen, it has an SSD, it is thinner and lighter, and it looks great! It is also more expensive. So what?

This is clearly a netbook targeted at a demographic which has more money or cares more about style, most likely both. That said, I do not think $1300 is too mindblowingly expensive.
um, it also tracks ultrasound that is being emitted from the controller, which is why its so accurate and fast.

HELLO!? why does no one know this? there seems to be a lack of understanding even amongst the writers/bloggers at tech sites
Excuse me, but the CS (and NS) lines are by far their most BUDGET lines. The CS line is more specifically targetted at poor students going off to university.

If you want proper Sony quality, get the Z, TZ or AW series

The FW line is kinda in the middle. And I don't know where P fits.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
