"Read the blog and the other articles about him here. It's no secret that he does BGs a lot, but he claims to not kill people there and only engage in flag carrying or whatever. Go inside a BG and you will get rep, even if you're alt-tabbed watching porn."

Cause you can clearly have 49 honorable kills in 2v2's without "killing" anybody or "assisting in kills."

Guy's a farce.

Critters killed: 4248

Pacifist. Right...
Yeah, gonna need some details. It sounds to me they are redoing the whole talent structure. "Designed to make talents simpler" implies backing out the current complexities.

However, one thing that Blizzard seemed to have missed is that players, to my knowledge, aren't complaining about being able to do the same thing - it's the visual appears is all the same. From the new teir gear, it's shown Blizzard can colourize armor. Is each colour part of independent graphic sets? Or is it just a tent added onto the armor?

Players have been asking for a way to visually customize their avatar, not some better way to differentiate their spells/abilities from everybody else.
@Zach: Not a Felicia follower either. Sure, hot girl, into MMOs. That's hot. But she doesn't do it for me. Amy Okuda, however....yes please! Needs more Amy.
Here's her video on YouTube if you're too cheap, like me, to pay for a music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urNyg1ftMIU
I like Netherscourge's idea on cooldown based. However, you need to remember this game was made during a time when cooldown based abilities (eg: death knight runes) wasn't even conceived or even thought about.

The DK's rune CDs are by far one of the best mechanisms in game for handling abilities and attacks. Too bad it wasn't until after BC when Blizzard though of trying out this idea. There is little chance we'll see anything like this on any current class in the future. It would be just too much of a class overhaul to implement. We're not talking about just putting a few abilities on cooldowns, but an entire game wide class rebalance. It just won't work -- too much time. They'll be redoing everything they've been balancing in the last 4+ years.
I like your idea number 2, but I would flip it.
I think a good approach would be increase your attack speed with the more rage you have, but decrease your crit and attack power. I'm thinking of it like a dunk venting, throwing fists like made, and uncoordinated, and as you "vent" your rage, your attacks slow down, but become more coordinated.

This would actually make warriors *want* to exhaust their rage, try to keep it as min as possible, while still trying to retain enough to use different abilities.
Healing a bad tank has never been my problem. Its the bad tanks that don't know how to control a group of NPCs. Pre-wrath, I absolutely dreaded having a warrior tank in an instance like Shattered Halls where AE tanking was required. Poor warriors just didn't have the abilities capable of AE tanking. Post-wrath, it's all about multiple NPC control, which all tanks can do. Any tank that cannot control multiple NPCs is a fail in my book and often gets the healer dead, fast.
Nah, tanks get just as much out of it as others. A group has to have a good tank and a good healer. If you've got both, you can last forever. I play a resto druid as my main -- I love healing has her. By far my most favorite healer in game. I've played two DK tanks to 80 and now have a newbie feral tank (only 25). The equation still remains the same. There are only a few encounters (so far) which measures your dps, but most of them is just a matter of the healer being able to sustain mana for the tank.

As for resto shamans; I hadn't played any, but I can see their troubles. From my understanding they are currently one of the most challenging healer, under-powered in most cases (although; I've had some resto shamans outheal my druid -- rare but has happened).

From the perspective of a healer: nobody else but the tank should be taking dmg. Your UK fight has AE dmg which is small, and shouldn't really hurt the rest of the group. Just make sure people stay together for chain heal.

A healer requires a good tank. A tank requires a good healer. Everybody else is just icing on the cake. ;)

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
