Flickr Find: Grand Theft Auto hides Apple and iPhone parody {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

May 1st 2008 3:14PM I guess they could've parodied the Surface too, but the entire concept is essentially a joke.

Happy birthday: take a trip in America's largest flying gadget (part 3) {Engadget}

Mar 25th 2008 3:41PM Happy Birthday Engadget! Woo-hoo!

Apple issuing refunds, credits from WGA strike {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Mar 18th 2008 5:44PM I ordered a season pass for Scrubs (final season), which only aired 6 episodes. Customer service replied saying they'd give me a $23.33 credit to my account, and also 3 video credits. I've received the video credits, and the additional credit should show up soon.

Microsoft finally confirms Windows 7 for 2010 launch {Engadget}

Mar 13th 2008 10:36AM Are they playing the Xbox 360 trick where they put "Windows 7" to look better than Apple's 10.6? Or is it really the seventh release? I've lost count.

MacBook Air: Woz predicts flop, store inventories say otherwise {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Mar 3rd 2008 2:32PM I can't say it'll become the new standard, but it'll certainly sell, and appeals to it's target market. MacBook Air will do just fine.

Wii outsells the PS3 4-to-1 in Japan, Sony execs "not psyched" {Engadget}

Feb 29th 2008 10:33AM Let's be honest. Selling one PS3 and three Wii's are pretty equivalent, as far as Sony/Nintendo are concerned. Let's be honest again. Two in every four Wii owners will buy three good games, and then let the console dust over, until another comes out in six months. One more time? The Wii is an expensive toy, not a true gaming console. Only the 360 and PS3 should even be compared, Nintendo is doing their own thing.

Disclaimer: I own a PS3 and a Wii.

Feb 28th 2008 12:27AM I've heard some good things regarding stability/bug fixes. Apparently mobile Safari doesn't crash anymore, or not nearly as often. That's just what I've heard. And then there's the upcoming SDK.

Feb 28th 2008 12:24AM Independence is a great application, and it worked for me with my 1.1.3 iPhone. The problem is, it appears to be impossible to install "Installer.app" to your iPhone, because that requires going through jailbreakme.com. So here I am with a 1.1.3 jailbroken iPhone, now downgrading to 1.1.2, so I can do it the proper way. Independence did well to allow me to downgrade, but it's only a middle-man.
