It looks horrible (it looks like my electric razor).

Why can't Asus make something stylish - its not just the features cpu power etc screen size ....

Asus might make a phone that has all these new features.
But if it looks like it crawled out of a toilet bowl would you actually buy one.
I always wondered who taught of the brown zune.

Microsoft should stick with software at least you can turn it off if it annoys you.

In the words of Robin Williams these styles would offend a blind gay man.
99 bottles of beer in a row
99 bottles of beer
if one of them decides to fall

98 bottles of beer

It is extremely ugly. Like taking a beautiful girl who has not bathed in months - to dinner. Get rid of the stilts. Also, that detachable module does not make any sense, it's another item to loose. Why can't you focus on making a stylish product that fits a lifestyle ?
Let's first forget the power and storage. This thing is on stilts and looks unappealing to the average consumer. The eee pc might be underpowered compared to this but the consumer draw factor of the eee pc is intense. I don't think, this will catch up with the eee. The mere fact that it looks strange and the track ball is not located in a familiar position, adds more sales effort in convincing the average joe or jill.

Note on this sales pitch "My screen might be on stilts but I sure have more storage space and a better processor".

The world as we know it. It's like being initially attracted to a physically sexy bodacious "girl/guy" and asking "her/him" for a date. Honestly, you would think twice of dating somebody with all their "teeth missing" and having an extra arm no matter how many menza iq points she, he or it has.

the resolution is still the same ... Can't we have a bigger screen with a higher resolution ? Most webpages are optimized for 1024x768.
This change only means you are eliminating the black bezel and making the horizontal scrollbar (for webpages) look even more annoying.

Am still waiting for at least a 1024x768 or better resolution. I can retire my trusty heavy laptop. Higher resolution same form factor would be a great device if you travel a lot.
It's ugly.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
