Very lovely ad.
I think i'm seriously going to get this 7D. I have a Panasonic DVX-1000B, and a Nikon D60. I think if I get this it'll satisfy both needs. I'm going to have to read up on it. You guys should do a hard core review on it!
What camera did you guys use to take the video? Great DOF.
If you have an iPhone it skips all of that if you have a recorded message. Someone at apple must of turned it off when you did this cause they hate it to.

I always have people ask me how I did it. I'm sure you can turn them off on the voicemail prompts though.

BTW does the AIM Login on Engadget even work?!? It used to now it deosen't. And the flipin passwords for engadget comments are so annyoing, how do I set one that I can actually remember.
ARGH I CAN'T TAKE IT!!! RELEASE IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I CAN'T CONCENTRATE AT WORK!
hah! Man I remember when I first saw the power glove as a wee lad back in the day in that movie "The Wizard" with Fred Savage. I remember when that douchebag kid pulled it out and wooped that kids ass. I was like "COOL I NEED ONE OF THOSE!" My parents bought it for me... and maaaannn boy did it suck. It had those stupid codes you had to put in to use it, and it had that dumb sensor bar with the 3 sensors that always were falling apart and always sucked at keeping things calibrated. Argh I used it like 3 times. I just wore it around cuz it looked cool.

All kidding aside....

I'm officially starting the Natal fanboi club. For real....! You guys are flippin' crazy if you don't think Natal is the best "tech" out of the three. I mean really come on, a light tracking ball on a stick from sony. Really? Really Sony? Natal blows that out of the water. Come on. Natal already does this and could have the added functionality of a "button" if they paired it with a stick. Microsoft could throw a hand joystick in the box with some buttons a joystick on it and call it a day. I mean really. You think the Natal will only be used for all buttonless gaming. You're crazy it supplements the controlling experience. you could have a controller and natal. Seriosuly if this tech works as well as everyone is saying it does it is a game changer. Not only for vid games, but for controller interfaces in any application. You know that crap that we didn't believe when tom cruise was in minority report. Well guess what this IS that tech! This is perhaps one of most important controller interfaces since the mouse and keyboard. It's an add on, but microsoft could begin to put it in every 360 console sold from the release date. Throw some family oriented games in with it and you have a seller. And it's not just for that it could be used in hardcore games as well. When their next gen console comes out expect this to be front and center. The xbox will be the media center of the home right under your tv. Imagine downloading moves and everything by just walking up and asking for it. Or buying things on amazon by talking to your tv. Waving your hand as if looking through a rack of clothes or cds. Again it's not a replacement it's another way to interact with a computer.

Sorry guys, MS does a lot of messed up stuff, but they seem to be all on the ball lately. I'm with them on this one...
*begin LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG rant*

geez man! the people here need to grow up!

who are all you people to say "it's the network, it's the phone, it's the firmware, it's my hand over the antenna, it's apple they are the antichrist!" are any of you people here cell phone network engineers?!? do you understand why your bars constantly fluctuate. man friggin' radio waves are unpredictable, my flippin wireless keyboard has spastic days. why the hell does my FM radio constantly keep cutting out. why does my sirius go dead sometimes. oh know sirius sucks now!! i've had AT&T for years (4 phones) and it's worked GREAT! awesome. WAAYY better than t-mobile, and at times i've gotten better reception than people with verizon and vice versa. i like being on a GSM network, and in the US it's the biggest FLIPPIN' ONE! It's a constant struggle no one device or network is perfect and the iphone (while my favorite mobile device at the moment) is changing the mobile plainscape. it has it's faults as does any other phone. ANY phone, so stop acting like your damn nokia's have no problems at all.

i'm so sick of this crap! I mean really it's a flippin phone that still runs on radio waves!! why does everyone feel the need to defend their convictions by just blasting every product on this website. why can't people just accept stuff for what is, and for how their experience stands in the whole thing. I don't think apple created this phone for the intention on it to SUCK. if you don't like apple products than don't buy them! no need to bash someone else s product. if you like blackberry's then awesome!, WM, then awesome. Nokia's? then awesome! none of these brands are perfect. and you gotta admit apple has been making phones for TWO YEARS, TWO YEARS! and now everyone is trying to make phones just like they are. This aught to tell you something. so stop hating and realize the phone for what it is.

if you like tons of features that have had time in making then buy a WM or blackberry, but I assure you the iphone is still going to be there, and it will still be making changes until it can compete in it's own market, apple has a lot of catching up to do and they are doing it FAST. tons of engineering went into this thing, you think they want it to suck!??! you think AT&T wants you to have 2 bars in random places! they can't be freakin' perfect. and it's virtually impossible to be perfect in every situation. but I assure you as I type this they are both working on the next improvement.

i read some post on here where a guy said he was in his office building behind tons of steal and crap complaining about 2 bars! COME ON! USE YOUR DESK PHONE! it's a cell phone it doesn't get coverage everywhere. and i'm sorry despite all cell phone company claims they all have black spots! i'm so upset i get no bars in my companies bathroom which is the middle of the 3rd floor with no windows! stop your complaining and realize radio waves can't go everywhere.

the tech is only going to get better. I just wish people would stop complaining. if you iphone doesn't work go back to verizon and buy your LG phone and shut up! mine works great and i've NEVER had a dropped call I like this phone cause it fits what I need and I feel there can only be improvement. phones are constantly going to get better, and I think apple/at&t is paying attention to this crap.

all cell phone networks have black spots, all phones have glitches and weird things going on with them (even iphones) I wish all the haters would just stop posting on this stupid crap and let this thing go. the few people that have posted in this form make up a small percentage of the 1 million people who have purchased one this past weekend. so don't let these simple amount of posts decide whether or not you want the phone.

it's a great phone! a great phone, probably one of the greatest phones ever made. something will surpass it eventually, but at the moment I bet most people will be more than happy with what it does. if your anal and RELY on stereo bluetooth, copy & paste, MMS and a bunch of other non essential things that will eventually come then go buy another flippin' phone!. if you like your verizon CDMA phone and can't live without it, then keep it. but AT&T has a good network, and in my opinion will eventually be the best one in the United States. it is small with 3g coverage at the moment, but it's the only one right now trying to have a worldwide connection.

apple doesn't make bad products they revitalized the cell phone industry. they've made a smart phone that everyday people actually want to buy. that's what they do! look at the ipod for god sake. or look at how many artists really love using OSX or a mac. they things that are actually usable. I'm typing this on a PC windows, yes usable, awesome! but apple is different. they skip out on the small stuff and make computing experience important. blackberrys and windows mobile are cool but most "normal" people don't give a crap. but how many flippin people have ipods?!?! they make better more "feature oriented" mp3 players but people arent' buying those are they. so what does that tell you?

this isn't a pro iphone speech (despite the fact it may seem so).

but I want people to just realize what the iphone is in our current mobile world, and then take it from there. no need for the constant bashing and what not. I just wish it would all stop. it's always LINUX vs WINDOWS vs MAC. NIKE vs OTHER SHOE MAKERS. Competition is here so that we the consumer can benefit. If anything the iphone has benefited everyone who uses a mobile phone today.

*end rant*
I wish remote had access to party shuffle!

then it would be ultimate part accessory... I could control the music from anywhere within' WI-FI range... no more standing in front of the computer at parties not dancin...
This phone has been driving me crazy. We've got three users who traded in their windows mobile phones for this thing at the advice of sprint sales people. This thing is def not a business class phone. It doesent even sync calendar data of any kind. Even when using outlook web access. If sprint wants people to stay with this thing they better add some business class features. As for comparing it to the iPhone. It def is a nice phone but def isint as responsive and fluid as the iPhone is. Congrats to sprint but it still needs some work to be an iphone killer. In my opinion its not even a winmo killer. Hopefully they'll release some updates.
Pick me. I wanna fly in style! Happy birthday to my fav website!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
