what's my guitar doin' on your wall?
i like the umd slot
gives me a place to store extra memory sticks and quit a nice chunk of hashish
linux sux!
i've used it plenty. ok, its good for programmers and servers and so, but for a personal pc, it sux
no software, drivers, a million distros...
and don't tell me otherwise because you use openoffice
@fox

"Apple did not lost ground because of W7."
isn't exactly good grammar either
now with displayport and without firewire?
i just opened up an old atari joystick, emptied it and put a usb mouse in it, works like a charm!
next: enter the whole PC in the console...
not too sure about the touch controls for gaming.

if sb would make some kind of dock - an empty psp shell with all the buttons and stuff connected through the ipod connector. Then just enter the ipod touch in yr psp dock and yr ready to play ...

you can send me my royalties later
so i like the new MB.
i have a few issues though that (for now) keep me from buying it:
- i want backlit keyboard on the cheaper model
- no firewire -- aaaaaaaarrgh! how i'm gonna capture my video now
- don't like the black border round the screen
- and just a tad too expensive here in europe: 1199€ (1637$) for the cheapo model, 1499€ (2047$) for the backlit kb.

so i can get a kinda expensive really nice notebook with very nice specs for video editing, but i can't capture my video...

i hope apple makes some kind of firewire to ethernet, usb or whatever dongle
i don't get all this second analog and extra shoulder buttons nagging...
wtf, its a portable not a ps2/3?

the ds isn't a wii either, so live with it!
"this could be a $50 cheaper option if games aren't your thing"

you might want to mention the USB support, DivX support, Hard drive, Internet browsingand even design

if games aren't you thing and you want blue ray ...
jep, PS3 still is yr best shot
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
