Sure, they're "polishing" it... aaaand like every other publisher, the want to stagger the release of console-to-PC ports so that the majority of the sales can be done without fear of piracy cutting into potential sales. It's fast becoming a normal procedure.
Wow... Absolutely amazing video, ryan. That's the kind of innovative spin on cover systems that all games should be aiming for.

Thanks for the link. This definitely needs to be implemented in future games.
The animations used to roll into and out of cover look really slick! I'm actually optimistically looking forward to this game!

With all of the comparisons to GoW due to the similar cover system, I have to say it's disappointing that there will be no online co-op mode (only local)... Hopefully it still turns out as well as I'm hoping!
@DBuck_Eye - There's no need ignore progress made in the 3rd-person-shooter genre and take steps backwards.

An improvement would be to perhaps create the transition between standing/covered more seemless, and adding functionality while you're using cover.
It seems that they're rising above the usual drivel, but Batman: Arkham Asylum isn't connected to any movies.

With that said, I thought Sega's Iron Man game was decent despite the obviously lazy job done with it - only if you can get it for super cheap.
Awesome; great contest!

"Who the hell gives a shit if it's pre-rendered.

The sheer visual imagination of the artists at square is off the charts and it's always a pleasure to see what they do next."

Exactly! Not to mention that graphics are hardly the drawing point to JRPGs. The cutscenes are showing glimpses into the story that almost exclusively draws people in to the genre's titles to begin with.
Happy memories of my childhood, food rations and drinking water to last a week, and a modded PSP with my PS1 collection and the entire series of Star Trek: TNG and Voyager.
I'm still disappointed that multiplayer was cut.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
