It was totally sweet! Even though I didn't win my Slingbox (grumble grumble) or anything else. Had a great time guys, though next time could the kids who don't drink get something to quench our thirsts for free too, like a soda or something?

I just talked to a rep at the Engadget meetup in Boston this evening and he said give him a month. I said that was bullshit and I was going to buy something else, and he said he was sorry but they were working as hard as they could to get it out ASAP.

I'm thinking about buying one, then calling up Sling and being like WTF. I mean... class action suit of 'false advertising'? Anyone else in?

"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
