Until verizon lets people buy a smart phone without a data plan, they can go fuck themselves.
I could sure use that as an upgrade to my chocolate v1.

come on guys, I'm poor.
I would like some free shit, thanks guys!!! :)
why did they make it so ugly and cheap looking?

I use an Asus R2H, and it runs vista just fine, no aero, but if that surprises you then you haven't been paying attention to the vista ready lawsuit.

My concern with this one is that it gives the appearance of a cheap Chinese toy, and if I actually picked it up I might break it.
I just don't understand why people would want this.
To quote someone else's post:

Exactly.. their comment as to the setup..
"We did not use some geeked out or custom built PC. We used an HP Pavilion DV2500. It had 2GB of RAM and was running an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz."

you'd of course know that though, if you had read the article.
It obviously wasn't influential.

nice avatar.
My UMPC runs vista on a 900Mhz celeron M, with 2 gigs of ram.

guess what, it works just fine.
never had a problem, except that intel refuses to make new drivers so I'm stuck without aero glass.

I have muscular dystrophy and using my UMPC I can carry far more books with me, both for entertainment as well as reference works, than I ever could with paper books.
Poo-poo ebooks all you want, I'll never stop using them, I routinely carry over 2000 books with me everywhere I go.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for the best geotagging camera currently available. The most important feature for me is the accuracy of the GPS module, so any hard specs on satellite receiver would be really useful. Thanks for your time!"
