Just so we can be clear on something: aren't rumours supposed to be NOT hard facts?
I definitely prefer smart folders to complex rules. I just classify stuff for SVN, bugtracker, mailing lists into their own folders, then use smart folders to check per projects or keywords.
> Apple strategy is simple, find something that people will like and make a product for it.

Actually, you've proven the point that Apple has more a strategy than most companies of its size. Microsoft, up to like 2-3 years ago, didn't check what people really liked. They just made some changes and put the rest of the money in marketing so that people would like it. That's a hell of a difference.

They're changing, and it's for the best of the customer. Many companies should check what Microsoft/Apple are doing right now and try to focus on what the customer likes. Sony, Dell, HP...
Uh you probably got the express version of MSSQL, which is free since a couple version. You can only install it on your own computer and use it for development. For server and production versions, check the price (http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2008/en/us/pricing.aspx). And learn to check the facts before replying like that.
No love for Rolando?

I'm in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and they hate us too... :(
Joanna, ma'am, you need to learn about differences in speed between the center and the edge of a HDD. Those make a large difference (seriously), actually, and it's even more important to consider when benchmarking operating systems. Random access has nothing to do with this mechanical flaw.

I'm not totally sure they are "totally flawed" as steffo pointed, but this is something to think about.
You Control Tunes is showing what tunes is playing, giving you menu buttons too to next/previous/pause. It can show overlays with the album, title, etc etc.

This is free and more powerful than the TunesBar. :)
And a better GPU, and a new camera (with auto-focus), and a better battery... don't forget that CPU speed bump probably means a smaller gate length and might mean a more recent generation of ARM processor.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
