Canada is also down. Here we go.
Well, it may be fake, maybe not. It appears that if it's real, this is being aimed at the group of people who need the dual 30" displays without the power of the MacPro. Our school newspaper would be an example: our photo editors use a MacPro to run Photoshop and twin 30" displays. I'm sure top Mini could do this just as effectively, and much cheaper. The Mini is the computer we want on our boat. Very compact, can run the Nav gear (if Ubuntu or Vista is installed), and can house all the media we listen to/watch.
I saw the link, connected my iPhone, hit update. 18 seconds later (yeah, 18 seconds from plugging the iPhone in to my computer), the update was downloaded... Then 3-4 minutes later, the install complete! Gotta love fast internet! At my parents' place it probably would've taken over an hour...

These improvements probably mean very little day–to–day, though my Safari does crash every couple of days...
Um... maybe to use your Nikon D80 SLR in the field. This would be handy for me. On the way back from a meeting and subsequent public event with the Canadian Prime Minister, I was in the back of our vehicle transferring photos to my laptop and then to my iPhone, before using the 3G network to email the photos and a story before press time for a few local papers. Since the photos required no editing, I could theoretically just take a camera and iPhone to many events. No need for my MBP as a middleman and added weight.
@Mark Anderson:

Vista Basic (full edition) = $199.99 + 64 bit ~ $15.00S&H = $214.99 + tax. Ultimate? ~$300

Mac OS X Leopard Home Basic, 32-bit: $129.99 + tax
Mac OS X Leopard Home Basic, 64-bit: $129.99 + tax
Mac OS X Leopard Home Premium, 32-bit: $129.99 + tax
Mac OS X Leopard Home Premium, 64-bit: $129.99 + tax
Mac OS X Leopard Business, 32-bit: $129.99 + tax
Mac OS X Leopard Business, 64-bit: $129.99 + tax
Mac OS X Leopard Ultimate, 32-bit: $129.99 + tax
Mac OS X Leopard Ultimate, 64-bit: $129.99 + tax

The best part? You can buy all 8 versions on the exact same disc for... $129.99!

I'm just going to assume that the Ultimate version of Snow Leopard will be $129.99 + tax for 64-bit, while Windows 7 Ultimate will be around $400 at release and they'll probably still charge a shipping fee and make you wait 10 days for the 64-bit version.
Hey Superman! You are violating your NDA by posting here. Better not let Apple catch you.
It's great to see a company willing to set up shop in the USA or Canada these days. We need manufacturing jobs, high–quality, well–paying ones at that.

Even though I'm not American, I really enjoy hearing about manufacturing jobs there, as it is a mainstay in the world's economy.

Congrats Tesla, maybe I'll buy one of your cars when I make my millions.
In my opinion, anyone who takes the time to click the link, write in their login information and write a post cares, because otherwise, you have four methods of avoiding the post:
1. Scroll past it;
2. Alt + F4 or ⌘ + q ;
3. Click the button at the top left (or right) of your screen, it's marked with an 'x';
4. The big button on your computer works too. It closes all internet connections, and causes the screen to display a soothing, black picture.

There are four options to get you started.
Have you ever been to a marina? Small sailboats (
Well, that's a good start, I suppose. But considering how much fuel these suckers burn (the per-container amount is almost nothing, but I'm talking in total), 1% savings is probably enough to take a lot of cars off the road... My guess would be at least 5,000.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
