@3dpenguin Zero apps if you're not using an iPhone?

Damn it! Thanks to you, all the apps on my BlackBerry just disappeared. I hate you.
@Terin Other carriers have better BlackBerries? AT&T has the 9700, which is being called the "best BlackBerry to date" by everyone and their mother...and having had one since Tuesday, I'd have to say I agree.
No commitment pricing on Premiere is $750. $300 is the 2-year contract price.
I noticed that, too. Considering all of Apple's products revolve around the storage and manipulation of data, one would think they'd manage to figure out a way to make it not disappear arbitrarily.
Wow. This article is epic fail epitomized.

As Robin pointed out, SSDs are the fastest option and spin at precisely 0RPM.

Furthermore, I guarantee a 5400RPM SATA/3Gbps drive transfers data faster than a 10KRPM ATA/33 drive.

While the tip is somewhat good, your advice is like saying, "If you want to drive fast, get a vehicle with 8 cylinders instead of 4." While technically relevant, there are other far more important factors to consider.

I'd also like to point out that 10KRPM is generally going to be far too loud for most users. These drives tend to fall into the category of "don't bother mentioning it because those that will tolerate the noise already know about them."
Dear U.K.,

We're sorry.

Love,

"Almost 250MB seems like a pretty big update for a few bug fixes, and it's hard to tell what other improvements might be going on behind the scenes."

There's no such thing as a "patch" for iPhone and iPod updates. You get the whole firmware every single time. Has Jay ever even SEEN an iPhone or iPod before? 0_o
Wow, you couldn't have been more wrong if you tried. Everyone that I know that was spanked as a child has no anger issues (spanking != anger; spanking == discipline...as a side note, these same people are far more disciplined...coincidence?), have no emotional problems and have no low self-esteem. They also get along extremely well with their parents (or did, prior to their parents' passings), and appreciated the discipline they were provided.

Parents who spank are typically responsible people trying to raise their children properly. More often than not, they are successful, and they raise perfectly well-rounded, stand-up members of society.

If someone wants to draw a line between spanking and intellect, let's look at Liberals. They are typically the ones afraid to spank, and you don't get much dumber than a Liberal... =)
Just a coincidence. AT&T's network has been capable of MMS for years, and the "upgrade" on AT&T's end was more than likely a backend systems update, meaning that it wouldn't have impacted your connectivity. It was probably the crappy phone that was to blame.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
