last I remember, bluetooth doesn't work during bios. That's why I never bought the mac keyboard.

BT works at a firmware level on macs so as long as the keyboard and mouse are paired, they will be recognized for startup commands. :-)
WOW! same answer at the same time! :-)
looks like it says:

I don't care what you haters say. I think its a great design. I just hope they keep it affordable and competitive.
I would normally say, "d00d, it's a crappy Dell!" but these things look really hot!

Don't let me down Dell, make me a believer! :-)
@ Chuckles McGee:

the key icons are also centered on the keys like on an Apple keyboard. Regular standard keyboards have the icons on the top left while Apple keyboard icons are centered. i do like the indentation to the keys and its definitely a welcome to have more keyboards with USB ports.
Just noticed too that the linux version comes with a 3 cell battery unlike the 6 cell battery that will ship with the windows version.

Also the main page reads 512MB RAM for both but the specs for windows shows 1GB while the linux shows 512MB.

Windows specs

Website reads 512MB RAM instead of the 1GB you guys post...

Doesn't matter, if I buy this, I'll definitely void warranty to upgrade it to 2GB.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
