Ha ha.... "I'm having nothing to do with blu-ray".

Are'nt you pissed off at this whole moving picture thing taking over from books? Screw it.... I'm taking a pass on electricity period.

btw. $100 says blu-ray is in your future.
Bad news :(

Global have always found a way to degrade signal quality in the past when they simulcast. It was so much better not having Global carry Buffalo Bills games this last season. The picture quality was so much better without them. Global also routinely fall asleep at the switch and forget to turn off simulcasting when the show is done.

Simulcast drives me nuts!.... I've got both feeds. Why can't I decide which one to watch?

Good to see them moving to HD..... but I can't believe they won't screw this up too.
Pioneer showed off a 9mm thin Plasma TV at CES.... coming within 12 months. More significantly lower power is coming too.

btw. If your looking for a flat screen TV, take a look at Plasma which has a superior picture to LCD largely because of better blacks & contrast and almost zero motion blur. Inch for inch they are generally less expensive than LCD and all the concerns of burn-in have long been solved.
You want frustrating....
50" Pioneer PDP-5080 Plasma is $2000 in the US and $3250 in Canada.
Our dollars are about equal value and for many Canadians it's less than 1 hour drive to the US.

Most manufacturers will not honor warranty in Canada if it was purchased in the US.
You're right.... I'm being unfair. How about completing the following simple test:

Name the leader for each of USA, Canada and the UK? What are their job titles?

Be honest with yourself and don't use Google.... Did you get all three right?
This is remarkable.... an American that's actually heard of Canada and the United Kingdom. I bet a 100 Twinkies you couldn't find them on a map. Perhaps Miss Teen South Carolina can help you.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
