No need to apologise, I'm with you ;)

I smiled a little during the map-thing, but the rest was just... Ugh.

Seriously though, this is exactly what the people who tried to be funny in my 3rd Form English class (Year 10 - everyone was age 13-14) came up with during drama. It wasn't funny then either... Maybe I just don't get American humour, who knows... All I seem to be able to enjoy is South Park (well, and Flight of the Conchords obviously, but their British radio show was better =P).
Nice choice of a graphic design/marketing team then =X

It's almost the same, although I can see what you mean about a very slight difference.
Nice choice of preposition HP...

You can try something "on the 14th of December" for example, but you can't try something "on December", because it's too big to try something for the entirety of it. Even if you're doing something for the entire month you're doing it "in the month".

*Sighz*
Okay... What is with the picture.

Seriously, it's a teeny tiny bit creepy.

Sort of like "RAWR", but with a phone... And why has she got a sun tattoo... There?
Knowing the way prices tend to convert from the UK to the US, I'd say the US' price is probably going to be nearer $600-700, rather than a straight conversion.
No doubt this'll be nicked by the military and not available to any of us... *Sigh*

Plus, won't an invisible tank be a little useless? I mean... They're still audible, and there's bound to be some noticeable distortion... (although there're still years to go before that...)
Either that's a complete fabrication, or you're an idiot.

It could be a lie because nobody in their right mind would buy a console and return it anything less than a few days later (after realising they actually didn't like it).

You could be an idiot because you didn't take the time to work out if you actually liked it or not.

In short;
*Don't be a fanboy
*Don't base opinions on first impressions.
Does anyone know if this is drag and drop or if you have to use WMP to sync it? (looked up the 'System Requirements' on the Zen X-Fi's page, and it comes up with "Windows Media Player 10 or above").

I would assume that you can drag + drop, seeing as it takes SD cards and you can't really sync those, but still.
Argh... Should've been posted under dBs' original post.
"If a week of free time is more valuable than the $500 it will save you to build your own, then you pay the $500 to not deal with the problem."

I'm 15 and hadn't really done anything with computer hardware before (changed a video card, that's it really). I got all the parts for an awesome new gaming rig at Christmas and had it built within two days (I mean yeah, the motherboard was DoA so I had to get it replaced, but it took around 4 hours the second time to set up the whole PC and get the OS installed).

There's no way it can take a week to set up. Unless you're modding your case yourself, and welding bits/taking bits out, then there's no way it'd take a week. $500 is easily worth a day or two of my time (how many people actually make $500 a day?)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
