May 8th 2008 10:32PM Mine works well for me. Oh, and contrary to what I posted in the comments for review for this, it's NOT Bonus View capable. I didn't realize that some movies have a second copy of the movie on the disc with the PiP content affixed.
I'll be moving mine into the bedroom when an affordable (less than $300) profile 2.0 player comes around.

May 5th 2008 10:50AM When are the other phone makers going to realize that the only way they are going to compete with the iPhone is on price!? If I'm going to pay the same amount for the same specs, I'm just going to buy the iPhone.
Now if there was a $200 MSRP difference (no rebate BS), I'd get the Vu, but since that is not the case, I'll be waiting for the 3G iPhone before I replace my Motorokr E6.

Apr 14th 2008 10:56PM I hate to burst your bubble, but I have this model, and, with the latest firmware update available for download at the Sony site, I have been enjoying Bonus View. So it is, with free upgrade, profile 1.1 compliant.
...now if those damn free discs I sent away for in DECEMBER would finally get here....

Apr 9th 2008 11:43AM It's hard to get excited about new HD content on Comcast now that the cat is out of the bag about them squeezing three channels in a space meant for two.
@WheelSee I live in Columbia as well and had a similar conversation with my rental company. They also brought up Comcast's exclusivity agreement, but I reminded them that was for CABLE service. Since FiOS doesn't use the same coax lines it doesn't count any more then satellite service. Verizon has already been out twice now to survey the building.
Now my only worry is that article about Verizon not being able to do 100% fiber in apartment buildings.
