Apr 29th 2008 12:23PM Chris A. is right. as long as games come out for 360 and the PS3, unfortunately devs have to develop for the lowest common denominator, and like it or not, the 360 is the lowest common denominator, primarily due to the DVD drive. So the PS3 gets the shaft big time on games like GTA that could look absolutely stellar if it was being developed native to the PS3. One could also argue that devs prefer the 360 for development sake anyway-- but im not a developer.

Apr 29th 2008 12:17PM Just because the TV displays 720p doesnt mean the actual pixel count is 720. It makes no sense that the PS3 version would have less pixels than the 360, since its the 360 that is at a disadvantage with shisty DVD drive... HALO 3 is prime example.

Im thinking: COD map pack this week (in time for the weekend), MGSO next week after work until GTAIV.. then im sure ill sink a ton of time into GTA, then ill get the PJM add on, takle that.. oh man its going to take me months to catch up. I Need a vacation.
