Who said anything about iPhone?
I'll agree with you, there. Apple did innovate the smartphone game, but they have since lagged behind and failed to properly "innovate" on their own movements. In 2 years we'll be introduced to "true" background processing and notification systems for the iPhone, and all of the sheep will eat it up as if Apple is king. Almost as ridiculous as people paying 600 dollars for video recording. Heh.
I actually use Android-based phones, but thanks for trying anyway.
Lol @ getting so worked up over a firmware update. Please get over Apple and their shitty excuse for a smartphone.
must be a problem in your area, sir. I get 3G here in Milwaukee WI just fine, even in some of the worst coverage areas.
Why would you suggest ADB? No average user will know what ADB is, nor will they know how to use it. He's talking about a true graphical front-end for the Market on PCs, not a command-line based debugging tool.
except for the fact that engadget is covering this due to the controversy surrounding Apple initially choosing to ignore the huge security flaw while its competitors have already addressed and fixed the issue, who only bit the bullet because it was publicly demonstrated. Apple doesn't want any more negative press than they are already getting these past couple of weeks. Get off of Engadget's nuts.
Lol what is up with this screaming lady thing???
I've been running cupcake for some time now, and I must say that G1 owners and all Android-based handset owners will be pleasantly pleased. Best Mobile OS ever, IMO.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
