I have got it sorted. If you have Adblock plus, open the 'blockable items' of Adblock plus (the one that opens in the bottom) and in the search field type 'viddler'. There should be a filter set for viddler preventing the .swf from opening. Disable it.
This worked for me.

Is there an issue with Engadget playing nice with FF 3.5.5 on win7 ?
Its just too unusable for me. I cannot comment. The registering/forgot password page, does not show messages ( like invalid user/password and the likes). The videos gallery just show a black box. Viddler videos dont load up.
I have turned off noscript and adblock plus universally to check this.
I would be disappointed if i cannot view my favorite site on my favorite browser.

"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
