My favorite was the one about my selling my optimus keyboard on eBay. Seems like I should win this one to replace the one I sold.

You bring up an interesting point. I think the risks Apple takes in this lawsuit have to do with the legal concept of "Fair Market Value". For anyone without a college education, please stop reading now as you will probably try to use FMV in a literal sense and much up the conversation.

If it is PROVEN that apple is subsidizing the cost of the software through overcharging for the hardware there may be a significant accounting issue. I believe the hurdle to proving this is very high, but possible none the less.

Consider the tax implications if Apple is unable to imemdiatelyrecognize revenue for hardware sales under GAAP due to subsidation issue. This is similar to what they are seeing in some cases with the iPhone subsidies. I believe there were a couple of European countries that did not allow for subsidized phones so Apple had to sell them outright (at a higher price).

I assume Apple considers this risk to be insignificant, or it may in fact not exist at all.
I'm going to buy one as soon as it is available and sell it for $2,750 to some dumbass on eBay just like I did with the Optimus Maximus. If Art can keep this up I might be able to cover college for all three kids!
The keyboards are shipping from "All Business Asia, LTD" Can't fingure out who they are.
Give me a break, that picture was taken in my basement. And you question my net worth? Need I remind you that I just nettet a 60%+ profit on this while the market was crashing. Seems like someone needs a keyboard with all green keys.
You guys should see the questions I didn't post. I received over 100 questions about the item and nearly all of them were incredible lame.
It that was somehow functional I'd love it for my game room. The price point isn't too bad... but then again I also have an Optimus Keyboard.

After 30,000 hits eBay is moving it to the front page!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
