Granted you wrote "about," but quarters are actually 25 times more useful than pennies, not ten. :)
NASCAR is not racing, it's racing-themed entertainment.

There is a difference.
#2, they don't have to beat the Audi team, they're in a different class.

Man, those photos should have carried a NSFW warning! :)
Peter Hegre :)
Rinspeed is responsible for some of the goofiest automotive abortions in history -- which means that by comparison, this one isn't so bad. I suppose that deserves some kind of recognition.

But more importantly, yeah, that chick is pretty hot. I'd, uh, like to show her a track date. Or lap her infield. Or something like that.
Waxing poetic only works if you're conversant with basic language skills. Try "the battle that lays ahead," or "lies ahead," not "lay ahead." Geez.

Personally I'd like to hear more about this Top Gear situation. Of the various AutoBlog articles that have been posted on the subject of Hammond's crash, all I've seen are a few vague sentences about the show being affected.
HD-DVD... The Chronicles of Riddick. Looks pretty amazing.
#3, AM isn't really involved in their racing programs. They're all ProDrive, much like the ProDrive Ferraris which came before them. Ok, obviously there is SOME involvement, but it isn't remotely similar to the massive expenses that go into a true factory effort.
#3, it would definitely be nice to see this run with ALMS, but at this point Radical is strictly a European series entrant. While the ELMS isn't nearly as popular as ALMS, they do have a lot of interesting cars that I'd love to see on this side of the world. I suppose keeping our fingers crossed is all we can do.
They should have locked the comments section after Toby (#5) posted. He hit the nail on the head. There is no point in saying anything beyond that. The manufacturers meet the standards. The suit will fail. It's a publicity stunt. Just another figure in office making a show of "Doing Something"...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
