@ Rick James:
Pentax is a very well known brand in the photographers community. They dont have the same penetration that Nikon or Canon does but they certainly can compete spec for spec if not better. Pentax, from what i noticed produces a very nice set of optics for all their cameras. They pack in alot of features usually.

i have no personal bias towards Pentax either, I shoot Canon.
The Chrysler Logo is missing the Registered Trademark symbol on the bottom right hand side of the badge before the wings.

Alot of people prefer tangible print copies still...
I wonder when a decepticon will show up
Having purchased a Ricoh Gr Digital a year and a bit ago, i must say the build quality and the image quality is phenomenal. It accompanies my 40D quite nicely. Ricoh lenses are pretty darn sharp.

that being said, Ricoh cameras are a different taste from what most people are used to.

Ill wait and see how it performs under high noise settings and image quality then compare it to others.
Well i guess they have to cater to entry level photographers who look more at megapixel.
Id so get this camera if it wasn't for the fact that there is no quick control dial at the back.

SD? oh well, SD cards not that expensive, if you can afford to buy an slr you can afford memory for it.

At least Canon upgraded its base kit lens to an IS lens =P
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
