the guy at the bar is 250 pounds and knows how to handle himself
All of that sounds great, but it's the broken window fallacy. This is why I don't understand why people think big businesses that make large salaries are so EVIL. They aren't stealing someone else's money; they are CREATING wealth. This is capitalism - the foundation of our great nation. As soon as the government can help others create profit WITHOUT stealing personal property first, I'll be a believer.

First of all, it's "citing".

Secondly, he has four sources, one of which is Fox news. When will the facts be enough proof for you? If you keep denying that we are being robbed of our liberties, you'll be the one crying when you can't use the toilet more than 6 times a week, you can't use the light bulbs you want to use, and you can't choose the car you buy. I could just as easily tell you that the fools on CNN are not credible, so don't use the "Fox is a bunch of whiny right-wingers" excuse - come up with some hard facts that prove bondsbw is wrong, THEN maybe your comments will be somewhere close to credible.

The founding fathers would be shitting bricks if they could see what's being done to this country.
I love PF vvm. Although it's nice to have everything tie in together, PF looks WAY better than this does so far. I don't doubt Google will make it shine some day, but for now, PF gets my money (or not, b/c it's free).
You know, I think the one thing these manufacturers need to work on is getting the background image on the homescreen at the right resolution. Heck, even change it up for your press/Mr.Blurrycam shots. Put a custom background on there. But for crying out loud, get the resolution right so it doesn't look like a letterbox film.
Wow, that's ugly.
I really don't see why netbook owners would want to add bulk to their devices. Netbooks are obviously made for portability. If you are using it for that reason, chances are you have a desktop at home, so you don't need this device.

Why not, rather than loading up on accessories like this, learn to use ISOs, online storage (i.e. Amazon S3), and the like? I really think the portability factor of a netbook should remain, no matter what.
Well, I can see where you're coming from, having experience on a Mac, but I think you'd be surprised how much you use both OSes. I have Leopard and Vista on different partitions of my laptop. I'm a graduating Electrical Engineering student, so I have plenty of programs that need Windows to run (Matlab, PSPICE, Xilinx, VS2008, etc), but I also compose music with Logic Express, enjoy using Eclipse on Mac, and the Office 2008 suite is MUCH better for Mac. I also just generally prefer the look of OSX.

However, to each his own. Apple's a smart company; I'm sure they'll do the right thing.
I honestly don't see why they would react to this. I paid the price for my black MacBook, and I have no regrets. Two years later, this thing is just as fast as it was the day I got it. I see my friends Windows hardware failing 6 months after they buy it. Also, my MacBook still looks very good. Sure, I'd like a matte display, but besides that, this thing's aesthetics will outlive a Lenovo for many, many years.

Apple's such a great company, I just really don't see them lowering prices to "prove Microsoft wrong." Microsoft DOMINATES the PC market hands down - there's no need to fight about it.
looks very iPhone-like, yes?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
