Woah, well this is a first for the XpressMusic 5800. I wish AT&T could rock as much Cincinnati Bell rocks :(
This is what happens when you get bitter Engadget editors who have to still contend with a dinky 2 megapixel camera on a $1000 (over the course of two years) iPhone.
Yeah, I know...My E71 has ridiculous battery life but I've always been a believer of never stepping down as tech progresses.
This could so totally replace my Nokia E71 if it had WiFi, a 3.5mm jack, GPS, and a microSD slot. Oh, and better battery life (even assuming the best about the stated talk time specs listed yesterday).

I love super-thin and feature-packed portrait QWERTY candybars :)
Haha, I was just about to post that.

This is just sad: http://www.engadget.com/tag/Thrustmaster/

Dolla dolla bill, y'all.
"Also, I don't know about you, but 60" of high definition glory with my Xbox 360 is awesome, 24" high def of my monitor sucks balls (in comparison)."

lol high definition with an xbox 360

now i've read it all
This will go great for all the graphically stunning Mac games out ther-

Oh wait.
"a 'surprise' OS that blends "cell phone and PC technology" in August or September. Very mysterious"

...WWAN connectivity + lighter resource OS burden of a phone with the larger capacity battery and screen of a PC = win?
At least Rock Band hasn't come out for the DS yet.
How much does it cost? More importantly, how much does it hurt when I throw it at the faces of my enemies?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
