Any excuse I can use to get a computer without Windows preinstalled, I'll take.
The projected capacitance is insane, I can make the piano app play like crazy with my hand a full 4 cm away from the thing.
My Droid touchscreen was spazzing out all of today, but I can confirm that as of today, multitouch works in PicSay (free), at least the pinch gesture does, also my onscreen keyboard, with which i use the colemak keyboard layout, just went from barely acceptable to crazy accurate. I think Motorola pushed an update to enable multitouch, and I await its implementation anxiously in Musical Lite so I can play piano on my Droid.
A network is a net that works. Need a crappy legal argument crushed? Verizon works. Need a hole punched through the nation's second largest 3G network? It works them too. So instead of an Apple logo on your phone, you need a network. Works wherever you go. Works with thousands of Android apps with axel-greased ease, and works over AT&T's semi-functional giggling brat service with a bareknuckles cell net that works.
I showed my Droid to an iPhone user in my technical writing class. His contract expires in December.

Guess what he's getting then.
I showed an iPhone user my Droid. He said his contract is up in December, and he's probably going to switch. I wouldn't call it a 'Dud'. The only reason it hasn't outsold the iPhone is that it hasn't been out long enough.
You know what the funniest thing is about all these features to me?

Droid does.

And you can take that both ways.

Come to think of it, I hope Apple takes it both ways too.
Saves me the trouble, knowing me it was a matter of time. ..but when can we root this thing for MultiTouch?
..but the second I can, I intend to hack it for multitouch and colemak.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
