I actually hate m.flickr.com for one simple reason...it won't let me ZOOM in on any photos.
@Troy I understand that this is version one, and that your goals were not to have every feature the Windows version has, but the features that mentioned were features which are already available from another application which guys created long ago. Why not at least incorporate them into Jing's sucessor Camtasia?
After reading their comparison chart I'm left puzzled. This is from TechSmith the same guys that do Jing which has been out for years, and yet somehow there's features in Jing that's not in Camtasia??? Like the FTP, region grab, export to flash, and even pause recording. Are they stripping these features out, forcing us to buy both Camtasia and Jing Pro? I think I'll go to ScreenFlow!
Keep it around as portable move players, and remote controls
Any chance of TUAW doing an actual walkthrough and thorough review of Snow Leopard Server once it is released? You guys really let me down last time when Leopard came out!
The flash content is actually running on a virtual machine which is then running on some server at your company. What the Citrix Receiver and HDX does is redirect the display of the display from this virtual machine onto the iPhone. For the IT geeks out there there is a little more info about this here: http://bit.ly/bX3Bl in regards to more info about the HDX see this demo here: http://www.citrix.com/lang/English/lp/lp_1686824.asp
Only thing I can think of is that it might allow you to use it as Go phone...where just pay for the minutes/data that you use.
If I remember correctly the DVD rental service Redbox used to be a division of McDonald's now a division of Coinstar (http://bit.ly/iCO4) ..which is why you see them outside of McDonald's most of the time. That being said they have deep pockets and should act as a 800 lb gorilla if they have good reason to do so. This story also kind of reminds me of the Amazon iphone application that got reject by Amazon and not Apple because.....well Amazon was already developing their own application, they didn't admit to it at first but eventually it was released.

Even if Redbox never releases an application I have to agree with Ryan on saying that they have every right to get the Inside Redbox application removed.
@emtp6811 take a look at http://www.printwhatyoulike.com/ they even have a bookmarklet which makes it easier
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
