The nuvi 200 doesn't give you traffic. This does and it's FREE. Anything that shortens my commute is a must have.

I agree with Shu. People want GPS devices. Garmin has a new way to lock their GPS units. It doesn't necessarily keep people from taking the unit, but they can't use it once they get it.

So, I'm in the market for a new GPS. Recommendations? I don't think I've ever even seen this brand at Best Buy. I keep seeing Garmin and Magellan, and I like Garmin's blog -- www.garmin.blogs.com -- so I'm leaning towards them.

Interesting. How does that compare to the Garmin nuvi I keep reading about at garmin.blogs.com?

She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children.
