...Wait, again? Man, this guy needs to find some testers who won't leak his software.
There is one company in OHA that's doing some theming work:

But, as far as I know, they haven't released their themes yet.

The hardware manufacturers are no making their own themes because that would defeat the purpose of Android; that is, the hardware guys stay in hardware.
How to fix the world economy: Give a 16gb microSDHC out to everyone in the thread!
WINE is NOT an emulator! The programs do run natively. It's as much as a go-between as one that allows you to run 32-bit programs to run in 64-bit Windows/Linux (dynamic recompiler + libraries).

Linux itself is a testament to why you don't need major software makers to have good software. Besides, if there were major software makers on Linux, there wouldn't be an incentive for programmers to write alternatives (that are FREE and can be ported to other OSes).

Oh, I don't know, a package manager perhaps? Vista has the basic capabilities for a package manager:

Now all MS needs to do (or needs to be forced to do) is to add a friendly GUI and let 3rd parties contribute to a "repository", where the package manager gets its packages from. Think of it as an App Store for Windows.

This isn't a new thing; Linux has really good package managers. Theoretically, Ubuntu can come without Firefox and still install other browsers.
Note to Microsoft: Get. A. Damn. Package. Manager.

"Cheaper than the iPod Touch"? "microSD expansion" (I have a ton of microSD and microSDHC cards lying around)? SOLD! I'm glad I didn't get a iPod Touch. But I wonder what kind of processor power it has.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
