i think the cpu's speed bump. aside from the obviously fast 2.8ghz mbp option, all cpu's have gotten a boost to an extra 1MB of cache, and a 1066mhz front side bus (and thus faster RAM as well).

The integrated GPU upgrade is definitely going to satisfy old 12" Powerbook people like myself. While it's still integrated, its a big leap forward from old macbooks plus can use more system RAM if needed.

And they finally killed the combo drive, now its superdrives all around.

I'm not buying though, my first gen blackbook is doing just fine and i'm going to drive it till the wheels come off. So i see myself buying a rev B "new" macbook, refurb'd.
that music is sooooo 15 years ago
well, this looks rather... ah, wait... T-Mobile?
Won't matter how it looks, that carrier sucks.
its all about software. if they provide software that truley takes advantage of the hardware capabilities of the phone then this device will certainly be able to compete.

If they don't, then just call it Instinct 2.
XP standard eh? then what's with the OS X Tiger wallpaper?
yea, the Acer in question is a 14.1 inch, indeed.
and i'd prefer it to either a netbook or a 15.4"

in my opinion 12" to 14" laptops have the sweet spot of not needing to deal with much trade-offs. They're typically low cost, but not so small that features have to be removed.

I never think to myself "god this 13.3" MacBook is bulky", nor do i wish it were any smaller. (not the best analogy, due to price, but you get my drift)

Netbooks should be seen as a simple option, and not so much a direction that the market is going towards.
now we know why ninjas keep silent.
they're trying to distance themselves from this douche
it would make sense actually. Now i get it. their commercials are as east to navigate as their OS!

anyways, i saw this during the game like others did. And i thought it was funny, then again i do have a fever of 102.
the 20" iMac would be a safer comparison as this article is regarding a computer with 19" Screen.

And the sleep specs are a bit more favorable: The 20" iMac uses less than 2 watts while asleep with Wake On LAN turned off, and 2.37 watts while asleep with it on. (The 24" uses 2.35W and 2.65W for the same conditions.)

55watts for that PC is impressive though, I wonder how much it would consume if it had a dedicated GPU though.
i don't care if they sell 10,000 or 10 Million Android phones.
The apps and software look fricking A+, and the one thing that every would-be "iPhone killer" phone release never gets right is "its the software, stupid!!"

Now here comes Google with Android. and they get it.

As an iPhone user, i am really looking forward to this. Apple's gonna have to drop the NDA on their SDK quick or they're really going to be facing some challenges to stay ahead in the mobile software market. But the best part is in this new race, consumers win. And that's why i look forward to Android.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
