Wow, that looks like an awful game.
"Woody, if I remember correctly, when the gun first came out (the grey one) it WAS packaged with the NES and Super Mario/Duck Hunt cartridge."

You are totally wrong, the gun was out before that combo cartridge nonsense they shipped later. How would you play the original duck hunt cartridge without the gun?
The patent expired in 2005 according to wikipedia's entry on D-Pad.

Pretty interesting, I never knew they patented that.
This game isn't going to set the world ablaze, but its not a 30%. I'd say its average at best, the graphics are pretty decent in the xbox version and the whole hostage taking dynamic is kind of decent.

Not a great game, but it isn't total garbage.

The movie rights are crap too, the characters don't even look like the actors who played them.
I felt like got raped after paying $10 to see that shitty movie. I wonder how it would feel to pay $600 to watch it...
I'm sure whatever algorithm amazon uses to determine what it recomends to past customers is concious of what it does and has a sense of humor...

This is a really lame story.
Street Fighter II
mine wouldnt start cold with out resetting a few seconds in somtimes. Waking up from sleep it would often shutdown minutes later. Just simple browsing or emailing it shuts down. Meanwhile i could edit video and it would run fine or shutdown. Its random and doesn't require a huge stress.
mine started doing this 2 months in, sent it out for a week, got a new motherboard, heatsink, bezel, plastics and the problem came back much worse a week later. They refuse to replace it and now I'm on hold waiting for parts. If I get it back and its still broken I'm buying a thinkpad and filing for the price of the machine in my local small claims court.

The idea that apple is going to field a lawyer to a town court is slim to nil, and if they do my local judge will probably rule for me anyway.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
