Nov 4th 2005 2:42PM My first mac was a Mac Plus back in 86. No hard drive, no second floppy. I returned to the university book store a day later for the second floppy drive (I got tired of switching diskettes). A month later I added an external modem; a Midgent I think 300 baud/sec. Then a month after that, an external hard drive: a Seagate 20 MEGABITES! for a whopping $500 dollars. 30megs back then would have set me back $600. Finally, I added a second ram chip bringing it up to 2megs. Those were sure fun and expensive days. All my friends were to come over and see what a Graphical User Interphase meant. Cheers, Rick
