um, yeah. they got screwed big time by a certain, unnamed, but rather well-known software company. i would imagine they've learned to protect their ideas with a vengeance.

Feb 15th 2008 7:59PM I know that this isn't something Apple probably has much control over, but I'd like to see a longer rental play period. I mean, if I go in to the video store, I have a rental that I can watch at any time over five days. Granted I may not start watching it immediately, but why can't I watch a movie over the course of a couple of days? Maybe I don't have time to watch the whole thing in 24 hours...?
I get that they've set it up so that you can hold on to the rental for a long period of time, but I'm just saying that, you know, a three day watching window would be a great thing to see happen!
Otherwise, I think that it's a great product. Keep expanding the selection and it will rule!

Feb 3rd 2008 10:54AM Not that I think the iPod really interferes with pacemakers (though I'm still not willing to rule that out in the case of the iPod Touch's wifi features), but making the argument that the FDA is correct simply because the it is a large well-funded federal agency is a logical fallacy.
That said: I love my iPod and I really, really want to get an iPhone, but I'm waiting until the 2nd (or 3rd) generation.
