Bring it on! Dedicated servers don't make sense in this day and age.
Apparently I'm the only one not stuck in 1997, because I think this is a great move forward. We're not running at 56 baud anymore, and... just in case you hadn't noticed... our computers are pretty powerful these days. They're more than capable of hosting and playing a game at the same time with no lag. If a weak-ass 360 can do it I'm pretty sure the average gaming rig can.

The match making in COD4 on 360 was awesome, bring on the future... bring on the death of dedicated servers.
Gamers aren't forced to make games, why should game reviewers? Game reviewers are supposed to rating things for the general public and I think the less insight they have into creating a game, the better their opinions will be for those actually paying for the games.

As a gamer, I don't give two ******* about how a game is made. All that matters to me is if it's fun or not.
What they hell kind of reporting is this? Joystiq is always crying about how "parents should raise their children instead of just using the Xbox as a babysitter" and now your damn President essentially echos the same remark and you condemn him for it!
There have been a lot of better brands lost to consolidation over the years (Westwood, Sierra, etc), Midway isn't that much of a loss.

With the exception of MK, they stopped being relevant a long time ago.
You know, if this was any other game I would probably be pretty unhappy about weak co-op, but I'm figuring the versus is just going to be so god damned amazing that it will more than make up for the lack of co-op support.
The Xbox wheel isn't THAT great (and yes, I own it). It certainly doesn't hold a candle to the great wheels you can get on PS3 and PC. The Logitech G25 + GT5 Prolog is just about the most fun I've ever hand playing a racing game.

Also, why all the hate for GRID? It was a great arcade-style racer! I don't think they ever claimed it was supposed to be a sim. For what it was, it was a fun game.
I loved the hell out of this game when it first came out.
Too bad they didn't have an OPEN beta. This entire issue could have been solved months ago.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
