Watching Fringe and finally getting around to watching House.
Crazy nice.
Ever so nice.
Nobody said you ruined "the entire game forever". We're just upset that you're not taking this seriously. This (obviously) is a gaming news site - and people who read the articles here generally enjoy the experience of playing good games. By posting the spoiler you have lessened the effect this early scene would have had. You didn't ruin anything but now when I play this part my reaction will be more "Oh, this part." rather than "HOLY SHIT" - I'm sure you realize why I'd prefer the latter.

If I'd seen this on the news first, I'd be pissed at the news for being ignorant of gaming culture and discussing SPOILERS from a game that wasn't even out yet. Since I read about it on Joysitq first... I'm upset that you valued beating the news to the headline over the future gaming experiences of your readers. Anyone who reads this blog would instantly call bullshit on any one-sided and unfair news story - knowing how often the media comes after games - but that's not even the point.

Sure we can discuss it - and yes this is a great place to do that. But you could have just called it "the shocking opening scene you've probably already heard about (full details after the break - SPOILER ALERT)".

Thanks Joystiq. I'd heard a thing or two about how the opening scenes of MW2 were shocking / controversial - but I had so far managed to avoid any specifics. Why are there spoilers before the jump?

(Yes if I had been playing the game for a few weeks I'd agree that this might be something I'd discuss with a friend who hadn't played the game - but WTF the game won't even be out for another two weeks.)
Isn't Sept. 23rd a Wednesday?
Chart is missing XP 64-bit.
awesome contest prize - hope I win
How are you?
I thought that too at first (about the boob) but if you check the video she's wearing an orange shirt with a black undershirt.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
