Nope, all of these powerline devices need to be paired. Being in an apartment is actually cool because if you have friends anywhere in the building you can put them on your network extremely easily. I swear by these for HD media streaming, they work flawlessly.
AND all RIM employees are getting a free ticket to the U2 360 tour closest to their city (in Canada at least)
Yup, my dad has the Linksys PLK200 and I have the PLK300. My dad need top floor to basement 1080p streaming and I needed the same in my condo (too much wireless interference from all the units). They work perfectly and never need to be touched once setup. I HIGHLY recommend them.

@Josh

My condo told me I needed to keep my landline to use the buzzer (old building...late 70s). But I really didn't want to do that, so I canceled my landline, but made sure they didn't cut my line. So I still get a dialtone on my landline and my buzzer still works, but if I try to make a call (besides 911) the message will say my phoneline is not active. So all you really have to make sure of is they don't cut your line, just deactivate your account.
Jose Z. is right for the most part.

But one important note: Pentax does not make the "E" series cameras. They are a Chinese OEM with Pentax stamped on the front. They are only produced to hit a very inexpensive price point and I wish they didn't do it. It cheapens the brand and may turn users of these cameras off of the rest of the very good Pentax line-up.
good point, is it 7% by weight or by volume or by unit, etc...

It shows they have a 17-70mm in development
Awesome! I was just about to buy a Sony VAIO SZ6...now I can wait and see whether I should get the SZ7 or a discounted SZ6.
Yes, it's a RAW toggle and quite a nice button to have (for the reasons you mentioned)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
