@Johnny Rockets true, though this story specifically about the droid compatibility that was added on the 24th!
@AndroidRokz well, bear in mind that Donut was a minor bump over Cupcake.
@D3fPo3t You're looking to cut the bias?

Did you take a look at the logo of the site you've linked?
@youlookdivorced What?!
@JustinB reviewing phones based on whether they "look awesome" -- interesting concept. that could save us a TON of time!
@atomandroid I do happen to think that Opera Mobile is quite good -- for a Windows Mobile browser. It pales in comparison to the iPhone, Maemo 5's Mozilla-based setup, and hangs pretty evenly with Android. What soured me a bit was seeing it run out of memory and error out after opening three tabs last week... and yes, that was on an HD2.

Don't get me wrong, the HD2 is a brilliant device, but no amount of spin can make Windows Mobile 6.5 and its CE 5 kernel defensible. It's HTC's win, not Microsoft's. The argument that we're pro-Apple, anti-Microsoft is as old as time itself, and frankly, it's beyond tired. I'm sick of it.

I'm pro-awesome, and I assure you, virtually NOTHING about Windows Mobile 6.5 is awesome. Trying to argue otherwise is indicative of a glaring lack of mobile worldview.
Not exactly -- the iPhone doesn't come bundled with a free turn-by-turn navigation app.
@tnkgrl Interesting... I've personally never seen anything like this, though I'd imagine it's pretty tough to pick out on a normal picture with subjects and a background unless it's ridiculously bad.
We're thinking that a pretty common situation here is going to be parents (or spouses) adding or upgrading a line on a family plan.
The N900's a smartphone. Again, this is not our smartphone gift guide.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
