It was a necessary evil. Before the iPhone's release, Apple needed a major provider more than any of the providers (thought they) needed Apple. As long as the contract had an end point, I'm sure AT&T was their safest bet.
The fact that Apple hasn't changed the "any/all" restriction is baffling to me. That's something that should have been brought in a long time ago.
You too, TheBrew!
Although, really...religion hadn't entered the discussion until you brought it up. Before your original comment, there was just a term with no religious connotations within its context. Do you rant whenever you hear some yell "God damn it!"?
Neglect or abuse is rationale to deny any warranty repair, so yeah, this would apply from day one.
No, I'm pretty sure it was a really crappy effort.
"Can you hear the dull buzz? It’s the din of 100,000 iPhone apps. Grand prize winner Intuapp’s Gap app broke from the crowd [...]"

That's pretty ambiguous at best. I might interpret it to mean that there were 100,000 submissions.
Because of the general understanding that people should be compensated for their work?
As time passes after this campaign ends, I'm willing to bet that the general public, who isn't attending to every detail of every commercial, is going to remember the three most salient components of the ads: Verizon, iPhone, and better 3G coverage.

I think this could be a pretty strategic setup...
Yeah, the big appeal to the ScanSnap I think is the speed. It's amazing how fast I can run through a stack of documents on one compared to a flatbed's sheet-feeder.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
