First Gen Ipod touch was loaded with 3.0 firmware and jailbreak yesterday. Not a single problem either. Nice work dev team
Ditching the click screen is a wise move. I remember being all excited for the Storm when I read about it. I unfortunately have to have Verizon and a BB due to my job. Owning the 8830 and hating it just made the Storm seem so much more attractive.

I finally got my hands on one at a local store to play with it before buying it. Wow what a piece of JUNK it was. I walked away and never looked back.

IF and this is a VERY BIG 'IF' they manage to roll out this Storm2 with no click screen and more importantly enough CPU power to handle is OS properly it could turn out to be a hit. The lag and OS crashes that plague the Storm now combined with the click screen made it an epic fail. Regardless of sales numbers.

Don't believe the hype, ran it, still sucks, deleted it and don't plan on installing it again.
Vista/Windows 7 is crap. Microsoft continues to think if they create a shiny GUI that stupid people will flock to it and think its a better OS. Oh wait people are doing that..retards...

This just shows how many stupid people are out there wasting money on a crappy ass smartphone. I played with a Storm for like 10 minutes at a local shop and walked out wishing I could have those 10 minutes of my life back.
I love how he takes an extra second to move the mouse on his "Gentoo Linux" box just to show the world ' look at me I use linux '
Shameless linux plug...signs of a newb.
Well there goes $600.. having a good job rules!
How is this news?
Overpriced hardware running crappy software...yippie..
Since I utterly hate my BB 8830 I am going to jump on this, regardless of price.
Bah, damn you job for making me have a BB. I miss my Mogul.
Played with one at work today, piece of junk that is underpowered. Lame. Overrated and useless.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
