"Q: Not a question about the auction... but is there anything that you are keeping like a fav game and system Apr-07-07
A: Not of the old stuff. I'm keeping my PS3, Wii, 360, DS, & PSP. I really like the Vectrex, Saturn, & Dreamcast. For Fav games: Nights, Zelda:OoT, Mario64, Super Metroid, KOTOR, & Combat."

In other news, looking at those photos... there is no-where NEAR as many displayed as his inventory suggests, or did he hide a '1/10th of the collection' notice somewhere in there!
I was really hoping Nintendo were going to release a first party version of these with the European console release, or at very least a battery pack with a mini USB port in it, so you can plug it into the console when not actively using it.

Still, as long as it works, I'll be picking one up. I've been using rechargable batteries and I'm getting a tad irritated with the controller dying every 6 hours or so, pausing my game and causing all manner of hell.
Oh man, the dipshit domino effect continues. READ THE ORIGINAL POST, MORON.

Infact, no, that might be asking too much of someone with such limited intellect, so I'll quote the original post (the one I blatently replied to, as you should have noticed) below, just for you.

"What is the big deal, I spend well over $2000 each year for my gaming computer upgrades and that not include the monitors that I buy, sounds like you guys can't afford to get a Playstation 3. Thats OK with me, all I can say that I glad its expensive so you guys can't get one :D. I bought the 60Gig PS3 with the built-in Blu-ray. I would have to pay $700 for a Blu-ray player. NO. NO the PS3 is a good deal and it can also play older ps games titles that is a deal I can live with. It may be expensive to some, but its cheap for me!"

As fun as it is flaming random kids over the internet, I'm not supposed to be using work's connection for such acts of amusement, so don't expect to hear from me again. (I don't bother posting when I'm at home; I only do so when work isn't too busy - as a result, I become bored.)

Ciao!
You'd think that with all that money you'd be able to afford a basic education. Your spelling and grammar is disgusting.

Back on topic, I wouldn't personally say I dislike Sony - I loved my Minidisk player (this was back before HD/RAM-based MP3 players) and used it whenever I got a chance in college; you could run a decent high-end Minidisk player on a single AA battery for 3 days solid (72 hours) before it ran out of power, which is much more than can be said for current MP3 players!

They also brought us some pretty fantastic televisions, and will no doubt to continue to do so. No, I don't dislike Sony, I dislike Sony's marketing department. They don't have a goddamn clue what they're doing.

As a Nintendo fanatic, I must admit it is fairly painful to say, but give the PS3 a year or so and they'll have an established games library and it will no doubt replicate the success of the PS2. It is expensive, it currently has problems, and it currently has next to no games - the only problem there which I can't see Sony solving anytime soon is the expense aspect.

I won't be getting one myself until they make a slim version, I currently have my slimline PS2 modded into my PC case, a project which was rather fun to accomplish, yet surprisingly messy!

Anyway, long post short - Sony has brought us some cool stuff in the past, and no doubt will in the future. It is their marketing department which deserves your unrelenting, furious hate, not the company in general.

...and no, before we get any smartasses quoting this with 'LOL U R WORK 4 $ONY!!!11', I actually work with the UK military in an IT Administration position. So there.
VAT is what we pay in the UK because we're an Island, it goes to the government.

That's the simple explanation. Want more detail? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VAT

I was expecting the PS3 to cost more than this, for a bluray player, this is actually fairly well priced. Lets hope Sony pull out some decent titles before releasing it over here, though. The current lineup - and technical problems - don't leave much to be desired.
Wonder if he's going to have a "get out of jail via the hospital wing" option, ala Colors.
If this is anything like their awful mice, it will break within a few weeks of getting it. I can't stand Razer products, especially when compared to the kind of equipment Logitech and Enermax have been outputting as of late.

The key configuration is disgusting as well, I can't stand any keyboard with one of those weird 'slimline' enter keys, I need a two-block one otherwise my little finger completely misses it.
Oh man!!! This is so FREAKING NEW!!!111!11!!1!6x9^10!!

Adorable little nublets aside, this is a concept which I've never really seen properly developed up until recent years; seems like the ideal final product if it works as advertised.

If you're using something which is taking up a considerible amount of resources, you'd have a delay between pressing the pedal and everything minimising, though... kind of anti-climatic, unless you're supposed to be working on a blank screen with a huge resolution windows taskbar filling 20% of the screen.

Still, if it works, I tip my hat to the designers, although I've no use for it myself.
Loving the Timon & Pumba mousemat.

I still don't get why they didn't make the dev edition of the Wii a nice blue, or even black. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles green just... it just doesn't do it for me.
I rather enjoyed that little video. It was well put together and encompassed everything I feel relates to the upcoming generation of consoles.

On that note, I cannot wait until the Nintendo 'Final Event'. Very excited about it, as my boss has offered to buy my Wii for me, along with Red Steel. He just wants to play around with the sword, really. Such a big kid at heart...

Yeah, so do I! :D
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
