Where do you guys think netbooks are going? I mean, what do we want to see on netbooks in the future. Is it just faster speeds? Cleaner designs or what?
I'm not so sure "shocked" is the correct description for peoples reactions. A touchscreen netbook? I can see some benefits but perhaps investing in less border around the screen as mentioned earlier in the comments would have been better first? I suppose disposing of the need for a mouse is a bonus.
c'mon guys, does it really matter? If someone enjoys having the latest iPhone, then let them have it. If they have the money and they enjoy it, it's their choice. People do it all the time; cars, computers, clothes, shoes, houses etc. I'm sure $299/$399 isn't going to make someone's mortgage fall flat, unless other circumstances make things hard, in which case I would hope they would have the sense hold back from spending non-disposable cash on non-essential items
@ Fenix:

So what, you are going to zip-wire a monitor to an ATX case? eeewww...
To make medieval history note taking at Aberystwyth University (Wales) easier as the closest thing they've got is slate and sticks of burnt wood so far... It'll be the biz for taking notes on the chronicon of Thietmar of Merseburg...
Sorry, but you are so stupid and you are clearly being a corporate pawn,
Jon Doe, I would discontinue the communication after this post if I were you.

(You are obviously never going to be able to write anything useful on a web blog. I have looked at your previous comments and they are nothing but... wait a minute... you've never posted before...)
And where would this "general population" come across Engadget Mobile anyway? They may eb innocently surfing the net when "oOo, mercy me, this must be the real T-mobile site" despite the fact there are no options to do with mobile communication like checking your tariff etc. Besides, if the fact that there was nothing to do with this did not clear things us for them when they were walking the streets, maybe the fact that its called "Engadget Mobile" may give them a hint...
I think you should "move on" to another website...
Hes not talking about that, he is wondering why they couldn't get a dongle to interact via bluetooth. the reasons being I thing that the bluetooth profiles are not up to the job
What were you smoking that morning?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
