It really would be nice if Leopard brought a text-aware screenshot ability. All that information is available -- for example with Cocoa's legacy fax: message -- so I'm sure it wouldn't be too very hard to make it work. And with the imminent use of vector UI elements, having arbitrary-resolution vector screenshots would be spectacular.
Has the 300GB drive actually become available anywhere? I'd love to get my mitts on that.

I used to use bc often, but these days I prefer using Ruby's irb or the python interactive shell. They do all the math I need, and have powerful and familiar programming models, too.

So really, the industry associations should be figuring out how to embrace this generational shift, rather than alienating the very folks who will one day be their lifeblood.
It seriously annoys me that printing to PDF in OS X is not easily Applescriptable. It's even impervious to GUI scripting! It would seem obvious that having a facility for batch-converting documents to PDF would be a useful feature for OS X to offer.
Whoops, the download seems to have gone 404.
Is this the first time the iTunes store has had a full-length album for sale at less than $9.99? If so, it is indeed interesting; I wonder whether it points towards more variable pricing in the future.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
