As for material for ads, I kind of like the 'Here's what our operating system does, here's a feature, he's how it's used, here's how it's useful' approach the Windows 7 ads take.

The metaphorical data as cardboard boxes of 'stuff' with a smarmy justin long standing around in the middle of a blank room while making fun of Windows for god knows what reason... not so much.

Nov 5th 2009 4:48AM took the thought right out of my head. the slight off-white colour, the bezels that remind me of bright green monochromatic crt monitors from 1985, the horrible logo and terrible stripe and a button/d-pad that looks like it should be used to start up an assembly line at an auto plant - this thing is fugly.
