cake is a lie
i hope this guy is getting paid by sony to advertise indirectly in public showers and in the warmer seasons, lame
1000 watts, u need ur own nuclear core for that kind of operations. Might as well come with an industrial 3 phase connection.
I agree, ONE thing ppl arent thinking about is the sluggish Blu ray drive on the ps3, that thing is absolute garbage. its 2x and it doesnt even run at that. ANd pluss all the price drops are due to sony removing ps2 hardware. sony needs to include a new 4X blu ray drive, bring down the manufacture to 45 nm and try to gain a market advantage by dropping down prices.
Ummm, why cant they actually make the drives more affordable and with full compatibility b4 they shoot blanks at us. blu ray reader drives arent even cheap enough to buy yet. The manufacture process of the blu ray drives is still costly as when they first started. Take the ps3 for example most of its cost is due to the laggy blu ray drive onboard. PS im not a fanboy or what ever name is popular with internet geeks these days.
the only price drop seen from sony over the ps3 came when it dropped support for ps2 games over here in australia. PPl got happy about this price drop, BUT the price hasnt really dropped, considering that PS2 functionality and hardware has been removed from ps3 40GB PAL models. They need to srsly find away to making blu ray drives more cheaper cos that is what the major cost of the ps3 is going to. And I must say the blu ray drive seems sluggish on the ps3, I know u fanboys will be down my neck right now. But I think the ps3 needs to upgrade is manufacture to 45nm and have a tad faster blu ray drive with 1.1 profile support. Then maybe the current prices maybe be well justified.
Crysis, is a very bad example of benchmarking hardware. Its poorly coded and was rushed. companies with technical prowess such as ID software, always have the best detail/system requirement ratios. Where they are fully optimised, and run smoothly while looking good. Too bad the gaming industry relies heavily on easy solution and sdk made for nub developers (aka dx 10) while opengl matches the visuals while superseding in performance.
aHAHAHA, ur an idiot that doesnt know anything, PC is found in an 360 and ps3. the difference is that ps3 and 360 use a RISC processor. heh PC has and will always be a step ahead of every console. The reason why u console fanboys think PC games "lag" is because they actually can be run upto 1600*20** resolution something u ps3 will choke and die while attempting.

BUTT, on that note, PC costs way more to upgrade and keep up with, and das why i say. Ps3 here i come you cheap, glorious slut!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
