Jul 28th 2008 11:01PM The Cown Q5 does H.264 basic profile. I think it's more likely than not that this will play non HD H.264 of most types. But theres no way it will have the processing power to do 720P without dropping tons of frames.
Honestly just get a 700 dollar laptop with a decent screen and dedicated video. Not impossible to find. Of course it won't fit in your pockets unless you are very very fat or a clown or something but it's a much better way to watch high def movies.

Feb 12th 2008 5:45PM I don't get how they can claim it plays anything in HD. If it can't do 720p H.264, let alone 720p XVID without dropping frames then I would say it can't do HD.
I would have been pissed off if I had made the purchase without knowing that. Of course I pity the fool who drops $400 without getting more info about something like that.
