I think the credit for this goes to Sprint - at the same time At&T came out with it's ten-reson unlimited calling circles, Sprint hammered everybody with unlimited calling to any mobile number. AT&T better step up or it's yet another thing for iPhone users (and all AT&T subscribers) to mark up against them.
Yes, I agree with that. Sadly, that kind of standard is what leads to the "walled garden" problems that actual web standards seek to avoid. If the 10.1 version of Flash Player truly is a cross-device/platform solution that also addresses the performance requirements for mobile devices AND Adobe publishes Flash as an open standard for consideration to be included in an HTML 5 (or 6) spec...

What am I talking about? This is the same company that claims PDF is good for open government.
"Flash is and has always been am [sic] integral part of the internet."

No. Flash is not a standard. And neither is SilverLight.
Any claims that 800 million devices shipped with Flash need to be asterisked with the note that a major percentage of those were Flash Lite, which is not the full Flash "experience."

Adobe has a list here:

Proprietary implementations suck on both sides.
Blue horseshoe loves Teldar Paper.
Yes, it is fixed in 3.1 beta 3. hopefully it will stay fixed.
Not sure why Engadget didn't credit the creator of that book cover, Spacesick:

No Harrison Ford voice = no purchase.
I really wish a matte glass or non-glare glass option was available on the new MBP but I understand that some peope are going to love it.

For my part I'll live with it, but I wish that Apple had at least provided an option. As many have mentioned, in a production environment (for print, photography, video, etc) the glare is going to be a major factor.

I expect some 3rd party will step up and offer some kind of screen cling/film - hopefully within days.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
