If that film reel is any indication, then the projected screen size is MAYBE 6-8"...
I bet you don't get unlimited text voice, data, and GPS on a NATIONWIDE carrier.
If Sprint offered to pay my $200 Verizon early termination fee I'd switch in no time.
Even if it doesn't include tethering, this announcement is awesome. Not because I want to switch to Sprint, but because hopefully Verizon will follow.
Wow at first I thought that the 280 Euro -> 412 USD was a typo, but then I checked the exchange rate. Is the Euro really worth that much compared to the USD? If I remember correctly just a couple years ago it was nearly 1:1.
It depends. If they already provided the service to you, then they MUST accept any legal tender. I.E. If you go to a restaurant and at the end of the meal you get a bill of $40, they legally have to accept any type of legal tender (yes, even 4,000 pennies.) However, if you go to check out a store such as Wal-Mart, they don't have to accept anything since they haven't "sold" the product to you yet. It's private property and they can just throw you out if they don't want to take 10,000 pennies for a $100 purchase.
I am in love with Lenovo/IBM keyboards. I have the lowly N200 3000 but my god, the keyboard is the best one I've ever used. Whenever I try to type on my friends' gateways or HPs I want to stab something...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
