When they can do it without the stupid glasses give me a call. Even then it's still pretty much a gimmick to me.
"Settled out of court for an undisclosed sum" press release in 3, 2, 1....
@jhoff80 TWC in Cincinnati has it.
If they push this out around the $3-400 mark I'll probably get one to replace my EEE 4G surf. Win 7 off, Linux on.
@awk Ridiculous tethering fees? WTF are you talking about? At&t doesn't even support tethering on the iPhone yet, never mind charge for it.
zune? the iphone has had free wifi at mcd's for some time now. starbucks too. just sayin'.
@(Unverified) sony vaio? seriously? overpriced, underbuilt. abysmal customer service. even worse than hp, which is no mean feat. can't say much bad about toshiba though. i will not deal with lenovo. several horrible experiences with their salespeople and customer service. mac? i would love to switch this whole place over. i'm personally a mac user. unfortunately i also need my job, so we are about 98% windows/pc. all our pc desktops and laptops are dell (except for three toshiba tablets). we're talking somewhere around 800 some odd computers. we've been getting dells since the optiplex gxa. with the exception of one desktop model that had a run of capacitor failures on the motherboards (optiplex gx270) i have had very very good luck with dell with a very low failure rate,
i've got a bunch of e6400s out in the field, and more going out. no problem with any of them so far. stock system with 2 gigs of ram, xp, intel graphics, wifi, bluetooth. no slowdowns, no heat issues. just sayin'.
well, there goes the apple tablet.
i kid! i kid!
is that a slacker radio logo in the upper left of the screen?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
