ON the first gen phones, if you did a factory restore it fixed a lot of the battery issues, since they ship the phone with only 30% battery, you really really want to run it all the way down the first time, if you don't, you will want to do a restore and that fixes the battery brain most times.
Yes but to be fair, Roger didn’t qualify his statements with any of those facts. He simply said by the time the Pre launches noone will be using an iphone anymore.
The whole UI in general is very nice, even the accuweather app, which when i first got it for the iphone you could tell they shoved it out the door, its nice looking now, but V1 on the Pre is really really nice.
Yes cause the Nokia N97 isnt the exact same POS 700 dollar phone that they have been milking for years. Just as another poster said, other phone companies release up to 40 variations of the same pos year after year and you Euro's just swallow it up.
Just imagine if for 25 years all the tv companies just released the same tv's in the same resolution, and billed them as new tvs ... Oh wait....

I just don't get what all the bitching is about, Nokia has been doing this spec bump thing for years, there is nothing wrong with releasing a more powerful piece of hardware. Were people expecting an adamantium orb shaped iPhone?
And a video camera, and a faster processor and, and and... Its just like a computer upgrade, sometimes there is a total Intel processor redesign, sometimes there is just a bump in speed, people upgrade either way. I don't understand what all the bitching is about.
wa wa wa, engadget conspirace theory, wa wa wa, nokia n97, wa wa wa, MS, wawaa. Fucking whiny little baby girls all of you morons. don't CLICK THE ARTICLE idiots, go check every other tech blog on the Internet, EVER SINGLE ONE IS COVERING THIS PHONE, you know, because people give a shit about it. Nobody gives a shit about your nokia, get over it. Even your dumb ass MS blogs are covering this phone. STFU and move on.

Oh but the nokia is the best selling phone, blah blah blah, if anyone gave 2 shits it would be all over all the tech blogs and its not, cause it’s a 700 dollar piece of shit. Tech blogs cover apple news because people care to read apple news, look at both of the smart phone polls and gizmodo and engadget, both are >50% iphone.
@look also quit making shit up. Your responses to Truth's statements have no bearing in reality.
@Look Around The only thing i have to say on this subject is, why don't you pay for health insurance for 30 years and never need a hospital, and then lose your job and your insurance, and then come down with a serious health problem. YOu know what happens you stupid ass who thinks he is always right? YOU DIE, that’s what happens, and all the rich private industry "health care" people dont give 2 shits, cause they have your money.

You have no insurance, all the multi-billion dollar companies have your thousands and thousands of dollars you paid out, and what do you have? A heart attack.

Why don't you stop for 1 second trying to be mr imalways right, and think about reality for a second.

You are a troll, and one of the worst ever.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
